When faced with the thought of appearing on live television, most actresses go all out in a bid to look as glamorous as possible.
But Rebel Wilson shunned a pretty dress to sport a baby blue tracksuit and comedy poodle trainers as she made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old comedienne completed her look by wearing her blonde hair tied up in a ponytail as she spoke to the chat-show host about her upcoming gig hosting the MTV Movie Awards.

And Rebel's choice of incredibly attire had the audience laughing before the interview had even begun.

'I like them,' she said when Leno brought attention to her hot pink trainers.
The larger-than-life star then seized the opportunity to poke fun at herself by adding, 'They take the attention away from my double chin.'

Moving on to her career, show host Leno asked the actress if it was true that she had won the Nicole Kidman Scholarship when attending the Australian Theater for Young People.
Quick to lampoon herself, Rebel joked 'Some people go, "she's had training?", and yeah I have!' confirming that it was the scholarship that helped her follow her dream.
'Nicole paid for everything!', she joked. 'An apartment, going to see Broadway shows - she doesn't know about that.'
Leno then asked if she had ever met Kidman and been able to thank her in person. 'One time in Sydney I saw her having dinner with Russell Crowe and I go, "Ok. Now's my chance. I'm going to say thank-you!",' she began. 'But before I could say anything Russell Crowe just turns to me and says "F*** off!" So I just put my head down and walked away.'

With The Tonight Show audience in stitches at the story, Rebel took the opportunity to say 'Thanks Nicole,' to the camera and blew her fellow Aussie a kiss.
She also expressed her excitement and anxiety about hosting this weekend's MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.
'It's pretty full on. I have to dance, I have to sing, I have do jokes. I have to try to look hot - that will probably be the hardest one,' she laughed, with Leno disagreeing saying 'you're beautiful!'
The Bridesmaids actress hinted that there will be an appearance from James Franco during the awards, and that the cast of Pitch Perfect will reform for a live performance.

Clearly excited to be on the show alongside the boys, rebel Tweeted a picture of herself with Isaac, Taylor and Zac, stating: 'I'm on The Tonight Show TONIGHT with the awesome band HANSON x'
It has also been revealed that the actress will join Angelina Jolie and Jack Black to voice a character in Kung Fu Panda 3 - due for release at the end of 2015.
