Selena Gomez is the ultimate Sixties siren as she struts around in  vintage one-piece and bustier during filming for her new music video

In her upcoming movie Spring Breakers she slips into a series of skimpy neon two-piece bikinis to play a renegade party girl.

But Selena Gomez looked a lot more stylish and chic in her swimsuit as she filmed scenes for her new music video in the Californian desert on Monday.

The 20-year-old singer and actress was the ultimate Sixties siren in the retro-inspired red one-piece.

Strutting her stuff around the Palmdale area of the desert, the brunette beauty boosted her height slightly with a pair of patterned kitten heels.

Her look was completed with a matching red, orange and brown satchel bag and a gold collar-style  necklace.

As she confidently walked around the streets of the desert town, Selena did not appear to break a sweat under the warm sun.

During the shoot, Selena also displayed her fabulous figure in a green patterned bustier and trousers paired with a bright emerald cardigan. 

The starlet channelled her inner bombshell as she preened and posed in front of the cameras at an old gas station.

She hopped into a pale blue vintage car situated in the middle of the desert and was seen throwing her head back and running her fingers through her hair.

Blue steel: Selena brought out her modelling side when she slipped into a blue and white pleated halterneck dress and matching sky-high wedges 

Simply stunning: The young star had minimal make-up on her visage, but had heavy wing-tipped eyeliner applied around her eyes

Selena appears to be throwing herself into work following her highly publicised split with Justin Bieber earlier this year.

She has just returned from Europe where she was heavily promoting her upcoming film Spring Breakers which is due in theatres on March 15. 

Her new music video is most likely related to her upcoming album.

Last week Selena indicated on her Twitter page that she's working on her music, which will know doubt please her fans.

‘Whose ready for an album? All the songs have been decided coming to you soon,’ Selena tweeted.
