Miley Cyrus's BFF hits back at 'bitter' Kelly Clarkson for criticising singer's raunchy VMAs performance

Following Sunday night's raunchy MTV VMAs performance, Miley Cyrus has come under fire from fans and celebrities alike.

Her rendition of Blurred Lines alongside Robin Thicke - during which she was clad in a miniscule nude-coloured bikini - has proved incredibly controversial, being branded everything from 'desperate' to 'uncomfortable'.

Some even went to far as to say they felt 'violated' by the spectacle.
