Miley Cyrus posts raunchy shots of herself on Twitter a day after Liam Hemsworth gets his own account

She has jokingly boasted on Twitter that she's got a 'slim waist with a big behind' and it appears that Miley Cyrus is rather proud of her derriere.

But perhaps it was no coincidence that the 20-year-old singer posted a string of racy shots from her new video, a day after rumored-to-be-ex fiance Liam Hemsworth joined the micro-blogging site.

While the on/off couple have yet to confirm or deny their reported split, it seems Miley is leaving nothing to chance by showing Liam what he could be missing.

The racy pictures are scenes from the video to Miley's new single We Can't Stop.

Miley is seen rather ungraciously lying on a bed on all fours wearing a pair on white leggings and a vest top.

While another shot shows Miley lying on the floor with some male and female friends, wearing underwear and a white t-shirt, appearing to be having a good time.

The images certainly match the controversial nature of the song, which has been accused of referencing the drug Molly.

Although it has been denied, many claim the lyrics to the track appear to use the term Molly, which is widely regarded as a slang term for a pure form of the party drug ecstasy.

Meanwhile, Liam joined Twitter on Tuesday and the pair seemed quick to start following each other's accounts, suggesting that it might not be all over between them.

Liam kept his first message on the site simple, writing: 'Kicking it off on Twitter for the first time. Glad to be on board. Thank you for following'

However, if Miley was trying to make Liam jealous, it seems to can play that game.

The trailer for Liam's new spy drama Paranoia has just been released, which features the Australian hunk getting shirtless and steamy with his co-star Amber Heard.

Liam is joined by acting heavyweights Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman in the film, but Amber Heard plays his love interest.

Liam, 23, and Miley are reported to have split but are still living together at their Los Angeles home in separate rooms.

According to Us Weekly, Miley confessed to a friend 'we're done' when speaking about Liam.

Speaking about their living arrangements, another source told the publication: 'It's strange.'

Liam and Miley first met on the set of their film The Last Song in 2009 and had been together four years, with The Hunger Games hunk popping the question last June.

But their romance hit the rocks in February amidst rumors Miley had become jealous of Liam's close relationship with actress January Jones.

Liam had reportedly been urged by his brother, Thor star Chris Hemsworth, to dump Miley because they thought the relationship was unhealthy for him because she was so jealous.

The Australian heartthrob is said to have eventually made the decision to end things after deciding he couldn't cope with the constant drama in his romance with the former Hannah Montana star.

Publicly however, neither Miley or Liam have yet to make a statement on their relationship.
