Lena Dunham wears very unflattering denim shorts as she brands Hustler's Girls porn parody 'gross'
Girls star Lena Dunham isn't happy - and not because of the unflattering outfit that she was forced to wear on the set of the show.
The star of the HBO hit is disgusted that adult magazine Hustler is planning a porn version of the series, aptly titled This Ain't Girls XXX, and she did not hold back her opinion of the proposed project.
'I wish I had a better attitude about the Girls porn parody. I really can never predict what will trouble me and it's simply exhausting,' the edgy 27-year-old actress tweeted on Thursday following the announcement.

She went on to explain what really infuriated her about the hard-core adaptation of the drama that has earned her critical acclaim.
'Because Girls is, at its core, a feminist action while Hustler is a company that markets and monetizes a male's idea of female sexuality.
'Because a big reason I engage in (simulated) onscreen sex is to counteract a skewed idea of that act created by the proliferation of porn.
'Because it grosses me out,' Dunham wrote on Twitter.
Skin-tight: Thigh-hugging jean shorts and a chunky sweatshirt didn't improved Dunham's mood following the announcement of Hustler's porn parody
According to website Xbiz, 'In the XXX parody, Hannah (Alex Chance) decides to forsake men, and boyfriend Adam, to experiment with lesbianism. After a few satisfying jaunts she returns to Adam -- and mankind.
'Adam accepts her back into the fold, but, true to the original show, adds a dominant and quirky dimension to the scene.'

'I'm with her': The actress wore a playful top, but it wasn't enough to distract from the shorts
Despite her disgust over the announcement, Dunham was back on set on Friday of the original Girls - which itself has been criticized for excessive nudity - in a pair of tight denim shorts that did little to flatter her shape.
Paired with a red sweatshirt reading 'I'm With Her,' on the front, Lena filmed scenes with co-star Zosia Mamet in Brooklyn, New York.
Twitter fury: Dunham expressed her disgust over the Hustler porn parody in a string of angry tweets
Girls has been a huge hit in the US since it premiered in April 2012, and was renewed in January for a third season. Based on the real-life experiences of Lena, it follows the story of an aspiring writer who gets a shock when her parents suddenly announce they will no longer financially support her as they have done since her graduation from university.
After unintentionally quitting her internship when she asked to be paid, Hannah is forced to navigate her twenties along with her closest friends, 'one mistake at a time.'
Creator and star Lena is the daughter of painter Carroll Dunham, a painter of 'overtly sexualized pop art,' and an Emmy and Golden Globe winner for her creation of Girls.
Snazzy dresser: Co-star Zosia Mamet (who plays Shoshanna Shapiro) was much more fashionable in a turquoise jacket with black trim
