NICE perm, Bradley: Cooper debuts his bouffant locks on set with Jennifer Lawrence

He was spotted a couple of weeks ago sporting some pink curlers while on set of his new David O. Russell movie.

And now Bradley Cooper has debuted his permed look for the first time.

The Hangover star was spotted walking around the Boston set on Wednesday evening with his bouffant 'do' on full show.

But he seemed to feel comfortable with his image overhaul as he confidently sauntered around.

Bradley, 38, completed his dated look for the film with aviator shades on and a classic grey suit with a medallion hanging from his neck.

Cooper sported some heavy facial hair while he completed his look with some smart brown shoes.

And when they finally called it a day late at night, the actor was seen ducking his head down as he climbed into a car ready to get some rest before his next day of filming.

While he showed off his transformation and had ditched his pink rollers for the day, his co-star Jennifer Lawrence, who he was previously rumoured to be dating, was the one walking around with big rollers on her head.

And action: The actress headed back on set after she had been glammed up again for the movie

Back to work: After spending time in the make-up chair and with the wardrobe department the stars then got back to business

The Hunger Games actress was also in costume, but kept warm with a large coat over her white dress.

She pulled the hood of her coat over her head to try and disguise the large rollers on her bright blonde locks.

Amy Adams, meanwhile, also showed off her old school hair with large curls while wearing a big navy coat over a glitzy dress on set.

Jeremy Renner similarly looked different to his usual style with his own bouffant hair and suit.

Bradley Cooper was spotted with his strange headgear on the set of his untitled David O. Russell film about the Abscam scandal in Boston, Massachusetts a fortnight ago.

The 38-year-old was also showing off his enticing chest, but thing of wonder though that is... it's just so hard to get past the curlers.

Is it a curl competition? The stars all wore their dated looks with confidence as they continued filming the movie, set in the 1970s and 1980s

The Abscam scandal was a sting operation run from the FBI’s Hauppauge, Long Island office in the late 1970s and early 1980s. 

The operation initially targeted trafficking in stolen property but was converted to a public corruption investigation.

The investigation ultimately led to the conviction of a United States Senator, five members of the House of Representatives, one member of the New Jersey State Senate, members of the Philadelphia City Council, and an inspector for the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

Bradley is working with Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell, as well as Jennifer Lawrence who has a starring role. Christian Bale also stars.

It is slated for wide release on Christmas Day, following a December 13 limited release.
