Reese Witherspoon and Drew Barrymore show off spots and stripes swimwear styles Mexico just five months after giving birth... and Cameron Diaz is there too 

They both welcomed children in September and looking after little ones is extremely tiring so a sunshine break for Reese Witherspoon and Drew Barrymore is well deserved. 

The pair have been enjoying a girls holiday in Mexico together along with mutual friend Cameron Diaz. 

Reese, 36, who welcomed her third child Tennessee just five months ago, wore a navy and red swimsuit for a dip in the sea on Sunday.

While she opted for stripes, Drew wore a spotty monochrome polka dot bikini, with a bandeau top and a pair of large knickers. 

The 38-year-old actress welcomed her first child Olive just a couple of weeks after her friend, and the pair will no doubt be sharing baby tips.

No doubt Drew will be picking Reese's brain playing on her wealth of experience. 

As well as her young son the actress also has two children Ava and Deacon from her marriage to Ryan Phillipe.

Reese accessorised with a pair of dark sunglasses while Drew opted for a pair of bright blue aviator glasses.

The star had her dark hair piled up on her head in a lose bun and she seemed extremely relaxed as she chatted with friends in the water. 

Drew was joined by Cameron, her Charlie's Angels co-star, and two other women for her dip in the water and the foursome were seen chatting up a storm.

After spending plenty of time making the most of the crystal clear waters Drew emerged to continue sunbathing and used an orange towel to dry off. 

Cameron, 40, showed off her trim and toned shape in a mismatched bikini consisting of a pair of bright yellow bikini bottoms and a striped bandeau top. 

It seems the famous trio are part of a large group of girls on the beach break to Bikini Boot Camp at the Amansala Resort in Tulum, according to People magazine.

A fellow guest told the magazine: 'It was a girls trip. They all seemed like great friends who were there to relax and have a good time.'

'They participated in tons of fitness classes. None of them wore makeup – they were fresh-faced and natural.'

Reese was seen in the middle of a girl group as they gossiped in the sea.

The Legally Blonde star hasn't been just been relaxing during the trip and she was seen enjoying a stroll on the beach with a friend.

Reese has worked hard to get back into shape following the birth of Tennessee. 

She has been hitting the gym several times a day to tone her post-baby shape. 

Fitness-mad Cameron was said to be thrilled her friends were enjoying the active break and a source told US Weekly: 'She seemed excited to just be with her friends and be in a healthy, fit place where she could work out all day and relax.'
