Khloe Kardashian tugs at her mini-dress as she realises the hem is riding up to reveal her control underwear 

Khloe Kardashian is looking fantastic at the moment, and has really come into her own in terms of her dressing her va-va-voom figure with a style that suits her sparky personality. 

So it's a shame for the poor girl that she came a cropper thanks to her short dress riding up to reveal her spanx as she walked into a book shop on Thursday. 

It's a common enough occurrence, spanx may work but they're also a lot of work.

Uh oh! Khloe Kardashian grimaced on Thursday as she realised her tight mini-dress was starting to ride to reveal her Spanx 

But unlike most young ladies, poor Khloe had not only a camera crew on her every move but an attendant chorus of chattering snappers. 

She obviously felt uncomfortable as she started to walk in the tiny, fitted striped bodycon and felt it ride up. 

The pretty brunette tugged at her hem to try and avoid the disaster but mounting the steps revealed just that tell-tale hint. 

She still looked brilliant and may only Victoria's Secret models cast the first stones.

Khloe, in particular, is developing a look of her own that suits her more sardonic personality. 

Funnily enough, it's a rockier kind of vibe which has echoes of Kanye West's attempts to make Kim's wardrobe edgier... but it works so much better on Khloe. 

A cornerstone of this look is the ankle boot, and while on Wednesday she opted for Ash wedge trainers, today Khloe showed the versatility of the look by wearing a pair of peeptoe heel boots. 

She paired the sexy footwear with a curve-clinging striped mini-dress which looked fantastic on her hourglass figure.

She was joined by sister Kourtney, 33, meanwhile, who came straight out of the leftfield. 

She's already stolen a march in Kim by getting blunt bangs which little sister promptly copied. 

But she outdid herself in the busiest black and white patterned dress.

Getting a bit weird: The sisters stopped in at Los Feliz institution Wacko Soap Plant which sells unusual books, gifts and stationary  

It could've been a disaster but instead, Kourtney's incredibly slim and toned physique showed the abstract print off excellently. 

She matched it with her pair of equally different black patent pumps with white ankle straps and a whole heap of attitude. 

A slick of orange made the look just that tiny bit brilliantly pop art.
